Socialite Life...Here I Come!

It's 2009! The year of dreams come true and I've decided to deny myself by indulging myself. "Huh?"you ask---Let me explain.
Since I've been in New York I've tried to remain focused. Serving in my church, in my community, and as a full time dance artist. I have been fortunate and my work has paid off. But I've always admired those dancers who worked all day and then let loose at night until 4 am. After teaching and rehearsing I usually retreat to my home at about 10 or 11pm and curl up in my cozy Brooklyn Brownstone Apartment and pass out. I am 27 years old!!! I live in NYC! (Well, technically Brooklyn but you know...) I think its time for me to deny myself by coming home, getting JAZZED up and GO OUT!!!! It's time to take it up a notch. So, I've hired a publicist ( a very close personal friend) and I am going to attempt to go hard at the socialite life.
Here are some promises that I will make to you:
1. I will deny myself at least 1-2 nights every two weeks and go to an event (this is Mon-Thursday people!)
2. I will go by myself if I have to and make new friends
3. I will blog about every adventure
4. I will not get drunk, do any kind of illegal substance, wear anything but stylish modest fashions or bring shame to you
5. I will take a cab home
